Mechanic Mechanical Engineering Electrical

At Van Eijck Specials you will work on building and assembling complex salvage machines. You will combine your electro-technical knowledge with mechanical skills and get the chance to develop yourself further in a varied and challenging work environment.

WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?

As a Mechanical Engineer Electrical, you will be responsible for building, assembling and installing complex machines. You work with both electrical and mechanical components and ensure that all systems function correctly.

Your duties include:

• Building complex machines;
• Assembly of electrical and mechanical components;
• Construction and wiring of control cabinets;
• Connecting components in machines;
• Testing inputs and outputs of PLCs;
• Setting servo drives;
• Testing and verification of software programs;
• Occasional deployment in the delivery and commissioning of machinery to customers.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

• A completed MBO education in Electrical Engineering, Control Engineering or Industrial Automation;
• Knowledge of PLC systems (is a plus);
• Some experience as a Mechanical Engineering Electrician or in a similar position;
• Affinity for mechanical engineering;
• Good communication skills;
• Practical understanding and ability to solve problems independently;
• Proficiency in the English language.
