Van Eijck International Car Rescue arranges, coordinates and provides national and international transportation of vehicles. Van Eijck International Car Rescue works for emergency call centers, insurance companies, leasing companies, dealers, businesses and individuals.

At our Gilze office, we coordinate all national and international services. We provide a comprehensive range of transport services: from regular transportation from A to B to heavy and complex transports. Transportation Planner

The Planner is responsible for optimally arranging and coordinating (inter)national transport of (stranded) vehicles. Transportation and substitute transportation assignments are distributed to drivers by the Planner. The Planner is in contact with (inter)national emergency centers, emergency services and other clients.

The busiest periods for planners are June through September. In addition, weekend shifts may be worked during the peak season.

What we expect from you:

• Minimum MBO level 4 working and thinking level towards Transport & Logistics
• Driving license B
• Topographical knowledge of Europe
• Knowledge of and affinity for vehicles (transportation)
• Dutch and English language spoken and written (fluent)
• French, German and Spanish language is a plus
• Communicatively strong
• Adaptability
• Flexibility: given the busy summer months, there is no opportunity to take vacation during the month of August

As a Transport Planner, you will work in a small team at the Gilze site where drivers load and unload vehicles every day. The work environment is informal, hectic and challenging. You can count on a nice workplace with enthusiastic colleagues around you. Because you will be joining a flat organization, the lines of communication are short.
